In 1985, Rami El-Ashi moved to the vibrant city of Hong Kong, embarking on a journey that would span 30 transformative years. Immersed in the city's unique blend of Eastern traditions and Western modernity, he witnessed its remarkable evolution from a British colony to a global financial hub. During this time, Rami not only embraced the cultural richness and dynamic opportunities Hong Kong had to offer but also achieved a significant personal milestone, becoming a British national. His decades in Hong Kong were marked by growth, resilience, and the forging of lasting connections in one of the world’s most iconic cities.
From 2004 to 2008, Rami El-Ashi attended Saint Martin's University, a pivotal chapter in his academic and personal development. Located in Lacey, Washington, the university provided an environment that fostered both intellectual growth and a strong sense of community. During his time there, Rami immersed himself in diverse fields of study, honing skills that would later serve as the foundation for his professional pursuits. Surrounded by the picturesque Pacific Northwest, he also developed a deep appreciation for balance and discipline, values that aligned with the Benedictine principles upon which the university was founded. These formative years at Saint Martin's shaped Rami's vision and prepared him to thrive in the challenges of the global arena.
